I am trying to make an Asteroids spin-off based on the tutorial at this page http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/flash/articles/asteroids.html using more complex movieclips and I'm using Flash 8. My questions are: When I apply the code shown there to an existing movieclip (doing the necessary changes for names and instances) it doesn't work! I even tried just pasting the whole thing to a blank project and it will load the asteroids and draw everything, but the ship does not move nor does it fire. I'm using the flvplayback component to play files on a CD. There are 6 FLV's between 20-60mb each (320x240) and they total approx. 2 hours of footage. Problem is when I seek (scrub) playback it takes several seconds or more to catch up. Performance improves when I set to lower quality, but still too slow to respond to scrubbing. Ideas on getting better performance? I've seen websites that respond instantaneously when you scrub... why the problem off a CD? I would like to continue to us FLVplayback component since everything is coded to this (cuepoints set to trigger slides changing, buttons, etc.) Please help! Ok.. so left my 350D in the car over night, and it was all condensated this morning when i took it into the house, took the lens off, and wiped the mirror clean, now its covered in wee speckles!! think its still condensation! any ideas on how to sort this? i am gonna be running 2 rockford fosgate p3 15s (500w rms) and a t10001bd(1000w rms @1 ohm) with 0 awg wire.i want this system to bang like no other! please help!You don't necessarily need a capacitor. I have a series of family portraits that I took & left 4x6. I wanted a 5x7 set of them, so I took them to the closest, best local place to have them sent off to their lab. You have to submit digital pictures on their computer system and with it you can edit how they are going to crop your 4x6 to 5x7. When I picked up the photos they were croped 3-4mm more than what I designated ruining the opportunity of getting them framed without cutting off heads & appendages. One of the pictures even came back with the toes out of the picture when I cropped it to leave about 5 mm of space below her foot. I used to work for a chain of photography studios as a photographer and photographic trainer. The company went into administration last december and therefore we all lost our jobs. While working there I took several shots that were model released but the was still owned by the company. As i said, the company went into administration however somebody has bought out the name and reopened some of the studios. My question is, who would own the rights to the pictures I shot? I would like to be able to use them on my website and in my portfolio's but obviously wouldnt want to get in any trouble. I want to know why it is that when someone asks a question about religion, that does not revolve around whether or not you believe, a proportion of the athiests in this site are arrogant enough to step in and say "God is a figment of mans imagination". I'm a high school wrestler weighing 121.5lbs, but i need to drop down to the 119 weight class by next thursday (December 4th). Any tips a schedule for losing weight? » How to thank a Vet ?

I was just wondering what would be a good way to thank my vet who help me save my puppies from Parvo. 14 of our puppies (my family has a kennel)) got sick right before a hurricane hit louisiana.((The parvo got in our yard because an idiot who lived a street away from us would not fix his pit bull's pin,so he kept getting out and coming in to our yard then one day the dog was just gone, come to find out it died from Parvo)) and he would not be in his office during the hurricane so he gave us a few IV bags, showed use how to use it and wished us the best of luck.
